Good to know

Questions we hear often

What's included in the $270 new patient visit?
Everything you need in a single, comprehensive first appointment: a comprehensive dental examination, a full professional scale and clean, X-rays where clinically indicated, and a personalised treatment plan discussion. There are no hidden extras — and if you have a health fund, you can claim on the spot with HICAPS and just pay the gap.
Do you accept health funds and HICAPS?
Yes — we accept all major Australian health funds via HICAPS, which means your rebate is claimed on the spot at the time of your visit and you only pay the difference. Depending on your fund and level of cover, your out-of-pocket cost may be 30–50% less than the listed fee. We also accept Medicare's Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) for eligible children.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. Zip Pay and Zip Money let you spread the cost of larger treatments into manageable weekly or fortnightly repayments, with interest-free options available — you can apply in minutes, subject to approval. You may also be able to access your superannuation for eligible dental treatment; our team can walk you through how it works.
How do I get to the practice?
We're on Level 14 of Park House at 187–191 Macquarie Street, in the heart of Sydney CBD — a short walk from Martin Place and St James stations and close to major bus routes. Many patients visit before work, on a lunch break or straight after the office.
Can you help in a dental emergency?
We reserve appointment time every business day specifically for dental emergencies. If you have severe pain, a broken tooth or a lost filling or crown, call us as early as possible and we'll do our best to see you the same day.
I'm nervous about the dentist — can you help?
Absolutely. Our team is experienced with anxious patients, and we take the time to explain everything before we begin. For those who need extra support, sedation options such as nitrous oxide are available — just let us know when you book.
How often should I visit the dentist?
We recommend a check-up and clean every six months. Regular visits let us catch small issues early, before they become complex or costly problems. Some patients with specific dental conditions may benefit from more frequent visits — we'll advise what's right for you.
